Mahalo to all the non-profit organizations that were able to attend our educational workshops on March 22, 24, 26. All attendees should have received an email with a link to access the recorded Zoom webinars and handout materials.

Team AdSharkz marketing campaign won its nonprofit partner, Hawaii Bone Marrow Donor Registry, a grand prize of $5,000 cash (donated by Hawaiian Electric) and over $91,000 in donated media and production services to be used to help the nonprofit execute the winning marketing campaign. Donated services include:

• Television ads with Hawaii News Now, KHON and KITV & MeTV

Ad Up Hawaii is an off-shoot of Kokua.org who’s core mission has been bringing people together to support one another. By fostering collaboration, Ad Up was born.

Ad Up identified the biggest challenge that many nonprofits face as the ability to market themselves successfully. At the same time found many in the marketing field with these skills, had a desire to make a difference in the community but just didn’t know how.

By pulling the two groups together in a fun marketing competition-style event both groups could benefit, and the results have been overwhelming.

2019 will mark the 5^th annual event. Over the years we have created marketing campaigns for over 20 local nonprofits, with the support of hundreds of marketing professionals.
